Topics

Papers describing novel theoretical, experimental, and applied work in image processing and computer vision for quality control are welcomed. Papers are solicited from, but not limited to, the following categories:

  •  Artificial intelligence, machine learning or deep learning applied to quality control
  •  Image acquisition, vision sensors, machine vision, 3D machine vision (stereovision, laser triangulation, multi‐cameras, time of flight, etc.)
  •  Vision and robotics, vision for autonomous vehicles, automatic guided vehicles, unmanned ground and aerial vehicle
  •  Non‐destructive testing and metrology, process automation, characterization and control
  •  Low‐level vision and image processing, hardware and real-time processing, parallel processing

Lake Shibire

It is said that the lake was named 'Shibire' because it is home to a dragon with four tails.

Takeda Shingen Statue

Takeda, Shingen was a feudal lord of Kai (present-day Yamanashi Prefecture). He was known as the “Tiger of Kai,” and the Takeda forces he led were said to be the strongest at the time.

Saruhashi Bridge

Saruhashi Bridge is called one of the three strangest bridges in Japan along with “Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni” and “Kiso Pier” because of its unusual structure.

Autumn leaves of Shosenkyo Gorge
